" sir, well I don't wanna be the blame, not anymore.
It's your turn, so take a seat we're settling the final score.
And why do we like to hurt so much?
I can't decide
You have made it harder just to go on
And why, all the possibilities where I was wrong
That's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.
That's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.
I drowned out all my sense with the sound of its beating.
And that's what you get when you let your heart win, whoa.

♥♥♥ Sweet
A lot of people call Lacey a sweetheart, but that is because she really is. She loves helping people out, usually gives a helping hand, and if you’re having problems at home, school, with friends or in a relationship she is always willing to listen. That is so even if the problems aren’t her own. She is the kind of person who will stop whatever she is doing to be there for anyone who needs her, even if there are a lot of problems in her own life, which there are a lot of things that run through her head almost every day. But it doesn’t really matter to her, as long as she gets to help another person who is more needy than her out. She is easy to talk to and really, she tries to encourage it whenever she gets a chance to. Some people that come to talk to her seriously get on her nerves but she braves it all with a smile on her face. People tend to get tired of her giving personality and attitude but she doesn’t care because that is just how she is going to be, take it or leave it. She would never let anyone change the giving and gentle side to her.
♥♥♥ Standoff-ish
Lacey is the kind of girl who has a hard time to let anyone get really close to her heart or letting a relationship/frienship grow too much. It’s only because since she was a little girl it seemed like the people she relied on or cared about the most either ended up hurting her or she lost them forever. That pain got to be too much and it all started with he favorite grandfather passing away when she was six. At first she didn’t really understand what had happened but something clicked and made her understand that she wouldn’t be seeing him anytime soon. Since then everything went downhill. People started either treating her like dirt or some sort of tragedy would happen. It is a huge surprise that after all of the pain she had been through since childhood and most of her teenage years, she hasn’t become completely secluded yet. Most would have. But that was just their way of reacting to emotional or physical pain, not hers. She just can’t open her heart to wide any longer, it’s too hard. It’s also not a healthy thing to do and she might end up alone one day but she really can’t find it in her to care about that. Maybe one day she can open her heart to that one person who makes her laugh and all of the pain suddenly disappear. But that person still has yet to make himself known, and she isn’t very eager for it.
♥♥♥ Playful
She loves to have a good time playing. She doesn’t care with who or how, she just loves to do it. Her mother calls her childish at times and tells her to act her age, she just doesn’t listen to it. The reason for her acting this way is partially because she is literally terrified to grow up. It is a natural part of life but it is one that has always scared her. Sure, like everyone ever had, as a child she could never wait to grow up and get out of her parents house but now that it’s actually getting close to that time, she doesn’t think she would be able to do it. The second reason is because she has a lot of energy, she has always been a very energetic girl. Sometimes it gets her into a lot of trouble and other times it gets her into none, just depends who she is dealing with. Despite her playful nature she still knows how to behave herself and when to be calm. It is no problem but she simply doesn’t like doing it very much. Actually no women in her family approve of that behavior but the younger children in her household and in her entire family love having an older family member to run with them and keep them entertained.
♥♥♥ Troubled
Something that Lacey would never let anyone know is that she has problems that fight her from the inside, never making it out. She doesn’t really like to talk about it much but there is a lot about life that bothers her. Almost to the point where she doesn’t want to be around anymore, losing her Dad brought that about. She doesn’t really talk about her issues that much but inside she really is a troubled spirit. Despite the fact that she tries to live life with the hugest smile on her face, it gets hard sometimes. When she is alone she will shut herself out to everyone and every thing else, just to try and ease some of the pain and not let anyone see her cry about it. She was eleven when her Dad died and they were always so close. That transition of having him around every second of the day to not having him at all was the hardest thing she has ever had to adjust to. Her Mom knew that but got married anyway. Hearing her brothers and sisters call their step-dad “Dad” or “Daddy” still pains her, she feels like he is trying to take her fathers place in their lives and that’s the main reason she doesn’t like him.
♥♥♥ Animal Lover
Yes, she sure is. Lacey is all about saving the animals and taking care of them in any way that she can. She wants to be a Veterinarian when she gets older. When she says she wants to take care of them she really means it. That includes putting them up in good and loving homes, giving them food, and fixing up any injuries that they might have. It’s part of her caring personality that makes her that particular way but she is an individual about it. She also looks like the kind of person who would behave that way. Lacey is completely devoted to helping any poor and suffering animals out. She is more likely to do that for animals then she would for most people. Most animals, for her, seem and look helpless and she doesn’t like anything that may harm them and agrees even less with people who try to kill them, such as hunters with their guns and knives. It saddens her that they go for the more defenseless things, ones that are smaller than them. It’s just pathetic in her eyes and she really can’t stand that things like that happen everywhere. It’s for that reason that she is a vegetarian, not eating any sorts of meats.

♥♥♥ Past
Before Lacey was born her parents met at a college in California. It wasn’t exactly love at first sight, but after four or five years there together, both were deep in. Of course their parents thought they were rushing the relationship a little bit but neither of them really cared about that. All they knew was what they felt. Her father had been there studying to become a High School Teacher and after a while he earned his degree. Her mother was there studying medicine, mostly to become a doctor but would settle for nurse if she had to. Either way they had met in California, Sunny California, the place where they were both born. After waiting for three more years the two of them got married. Naturally their parents tried to talk them out of it but nothing was seeming to work and both parties left them alone and tried to enjoy the wedding. More or less there was lots and lots of crying going on in both parents. Lacey’s parents were happy with each other, love is the greatest thing that people could have for each other, and they were the prime example of it. A year or so after their marriage the family decided that California was not the kind of place where they wanted to raise their children, the crime rate was amazingly high for the time, and neither wanted to take chances. Even though nowhere they could go would be remotely safe to have a family. Still, they decided to pack up and moved to Forks, Washington. A nice, small little town where they wouldn’t mind raising a family, no matter how wet it was.
A few shorts years later on a particular September the Thirteenth the oldest daughter was born. She was named Margaret Britain Clarence after their great grandmother Margaret Angela on their mother’s side. Her sister would soon become the most stuck up one in the family but while she was younger, Maggie was angelic, well...almost. The next two years passed and while they were immensely tired their love for each other had never died. And the proof of that came when Lacey was born on June the fifteenth. Her parents had decided to name her Lacey Michelle Clarence because they like the way the name had sounded, there was a nice ring to it, and her mother’s mother had just passed away a few months ahead of time, in honor of her memory she was given that name, just because her grandmother thought it was a beautiful name from the beginning. So that was how she got landed with that. The two sisters didn’t always get along, it was like a battle to get their parents attention and they often found themselves in trouble for it. Both of their parents had always had little tolerance for such silly things such as that, so it was no wonder that the two girls always got small time outs for it. But eventually they grew out of it by the time that the youngest sister was born.
When Lacey was six her Grandfather on her dad’s side passed away after having a stroke. She was still too young and had never experienced death before but after being explained to about it she knew she would never see her Grandpa again. The reality of the situation didn’t hit until a year or so later. She missed her Grandpa a lot but knew he was in a better place. She tried to remember all of the good times they had together but every time she did that all she could seem to do was cry about it over and over again. Her parents felt terrible about it but there was nothing they could do that would set it right again, even if they really wanted to. What was done was done and there was no reversing it. When she was seven her youngest sister was born and they named her Krystal Alexandra, and she was the first daughter who wasn’t named after a family member or in favor of one. Now that both of the older two girls had grown up a bit more having another sibling around wasn’t horrible plus the seven year old and the nine year old found they liked to help their parents out by taking care of their little sister.
♥♥♥ The Middle
When Lacey started in middle school she had expected it to be completely different compared to elementary. Well it was, but she still liked it. She had to go through it alone though because when she was in seventh grade her sister had just started High School as a Freshman. Everyone knew her prissy and snobby older sister so they kind of put that on her as well, but were surprised to find she was the nice sister. Lacey was always so talkative in school, well most of the time. The middle of her seventh grade year was what had changed it all. Her dad had been in an accident, a very bad one at that. He didn’t make it. That news hit the family hard, but Lacey felt as if she couldn’t breath. Losing someone so close to her heart was never something she had taken so well or kindly. Her Dad really was her best friend at home, they talked about everything(besides boys), and when she felt like she was going to explode he helped her to get it all out. For a few short months after her Dad’s funeral Lacey started to shut people out completely, she would act human including eating and sleeping, but she couldn’t ever smile and at school she started to sit alone. After a while her friends starting getting tired of it and broke off the friendships, not caring about the emptiness inside.
Her Mom was the only person she could really explain how she felt to, because it seemed she felt the same exact way. What Lacey didn’t know was that her mom was dating in a year and a half later. It was an old friend of hers from College who helped her out through her hard time and helped her heal quickly. Lacey didn’t like having him around because the way he acted towards them, it felt like he was trying to replace her father, something she would never let happen. When she was thirteen her Mom had another son, it was rather quick and the woman was a widow at the time. Her excuse was that the things that her and that friend of hers did was what helped her heal. To Lacey it was like she was saying she didn’t really love her father in the first place, she had just thought she did. Lacey couldn’t believe a word that was coming out of her mouth, it felt so unreal and Lacey seriously didn’t like it. She didn’t like him. She just wanted to have her family back but it looked like that wouldn’t be happening any time soon. The next year came and her Mother got married to this Jeremy Smith character, it was like he was moving in on territory he shouldn’t have been.
♥♥♥ Currently
The years since her father’s passing went by rather quickly than Lacey would have thought. He was on her mind and in her heart everyday but Lacey learned to live her life. She figured that it would be what he wanted so she did it. She still cries about it sometimes and her mom is always there to hold her but she lives with a smile on her face. Her Freshman year she stopped eating meat, her love for animals really started to get to her and she found she would rather live as a vegetarian then eat those who she would fight to protect. Her Mom really doesn’t like the sound of that but knew that once Lacey put her mind to something then she was going to go through with it in the end, so instead of fighting about it she decided to support her daughter. For Lacey starting high school with Maggie around was hard because her sister was so stuck up and would hardly even say a word to the younger sibling at school or at home, but it wasn’t like Lacey actually minded. They were two totally polar opposites and the world knew it. That fact didn’t stop Lacey from being known as Maggie’s Little Sister most of the time but she ignored those people, the kinds who refused to talk to her as if she was an actual person.
Sophomore year she had her first real heartbreak when her boyfriend broke up with her. It was like something was being ripped away from her. Someone she cared about more than anything but after a few weeks of feeling that way, she started trying to move on. She trooped through it with a smile on her face. She never spoke to him again and never figured out why he ended it so suddenly, but she didn’t care either. It made her unable to open her heart back up to anyone else that way again and even coming close to doing that scared her beyond belief, but she never said anything about it. A part of her still cared but mostly she said she didn’t and would never say she did. Since she was a girl she hated being hurt by anyone but knew it was part of life. The end of her Sophomore year her sister Margaret graduated from high school and got accepted in a College over in California. It wasn’t the same one her parents attended but one that was supposedly better than that one. It was definitely in better condition because it was a brand new building and it looked a lot nicer that the pictures her Mom had shown her. The college was just older than the one her parents went to. The original building was old and falling apart so it was time for a change.
Junior year has come around and nothing has changed. Sometimes she just wants to break free and for everyone to leave her alone but they never do. She remained single after her last heartbreak and doesn’t want to let a single person get too close that hadn’t been before but she still makes friends and enjoys talking to people. She still has a small hatred for her Step-father and still feels like he is intruding on her fathers place but she stopped showing it to him. It was for her Mom that she did that. Once her sister moved to California she sort of never talks to her anymore, and it is her own fault. She also still has a huge need to help animals and never even lets meat come close to her lips but she continued taking the ballet and piano lessons her Dad got her started in so many years ago. She just wants to make it through high school alive then do what she feels she was destined to do in the world.

I see the love I have for you, it's so unreal ::
The heart is a powerful thing
For Roberta the stars had to be the most beautiful things to grace the earth. She could always find the time to admire the beauty that they held. Call her crazy but she even did it during the winter time. She always found them a little too heavenly for the human eye but still she looked and watched; even when she was a little girl she would be found laying the yards staring up to the sky, a dazed and wild look all about her eyes. No one worried and no one cared because they knew what it all meant, it was a favorite pastime that she would never give up. Her mother sometimes was disturbed by it or else she got angry and called her stupid because it would be freezing cold out and there she would be lying down without a jacket and staring up. It not a hobby but more of an obsession.
Even when she was with Alfonso she would be with him under the stars. Most thought that they were boring but they didn’t understand her love to the constellations or the planets. Thanks to Astronomy she had finally learned how to point out which was which after a few years. Planets were a bit harder to decipher without a telescope in hand but once you got the hang of it and learned the positioning it was a piece of cake. Besides quidditch stargazing was her thing. Her father would rather have her off the broom but that was just another love of hers. Quidditch for a fact entranced her but the stars captured her mind, and her heart. There were some things you could never change about a person and this was one of them for her. Now the redhead seventeen year old sat there with a blanket wrapped around her body and the wind blowing her hair in all directions. Her face was not bothered by the breeze that had come by but it was upwards to the sky in it’s normal position when she was out at night.
She lay the blanket out on the ground beneath her before she leaned back with her hands behind her head and her hair sprawled all over the place like a red pillow of some sort. She had everything she could ever want, well almost everything. She had one of the most important things in her life with her and that was the sky but there was a big part of it missing. It was only the first night back at Hogwarts and her first night of actual head girl duties. She needn’t be in bed yet which she was thankful for, even if she was a normal student this was where she would be on this very night.
She had a bit of a thing for doing whatever it was that she wanted to. Parents and teachers got mad but she passed their reactions off like they were nothing, it wasn’t as if it mattered anyways. She was just about the happiest girl in the school for the moment but as she looked to her right side there was something or someone rather missing. She had seen her boyfriend at the feast and that was about it, he had asked her out not too long ago and they were sort of a couple except for their lives set them on different tracks sometimes. However she loved him and always would. She would figure away to tell him, not just say a simple “I love you.” Like it always was but ways to really get what she was feeling out. She missed him and wondered when she would see him.
It would be a little weird if he would come along to the very place she was but it would be a good weird. What better way to spend time with the one you cared so much about then under the stars? She knew it was how her parents had gotten their feelings out and she supposed that it was her father that she got her love for the stars from. When she was little he would tell her stories about the stars and of their marriage under the stars. Since then she supposed that was what started her fascination with them. Since the last time he had gotten a chance to tell her the stories she had always pictured having her wedding on a starry night. It was something she planned forward for and hoped to come true.
