height • 6’5
weight • Don’t ask him. He has refused to step onto a scale ever since he broke the first one he ever tried. Emmett knows he isn’t light, but he also knows that his weight makes no difference one way or another. Bring this up, and one can consider themselves ground meat.
stature • Muscular. Need more be said? Emmett’s granite form is only intensified by his special gift of strength. Even as a human, Emmet prided himself on his physical prowess. His arms boast a circumference that not many girls hands can compete with. Washboard abs that feel like solid metal please his angel just right. Thick, strong legs give him the jump that often causes Rosalie to call him her monkey man, but he would rather not talk about that in public. That’s for his girl only.
eyes • Golden or black…is he hungry?
hair • Brown

likes • Emmett enjoys being powerful. Competition is what he lives for…well, second to Rosalie of course. He likes to play baseball because it always supplies him with some sort of bragging rights. He also enjoys his time with his family as a group. They really make being vegetarian worthwhile. He doesn’t often express that, but sometimes one can glimpse it in his eyes. Re-marrying is always fun. As long as Rose is happy, Emmett is sure to be happy. Rosalie’s voice is yet another one of Emmet’s likes. He has been know to compliment her on it on several occasions (most of which are very private).
dislikes • Losing is not something on Emmett’s agenda…ever. This annoys him beyond anything. Edward’s speed is not one of his favorites either. He doesn’t like knowing that the other Cullen is truly better than him at something. The wedding ceremony has never been someone quite fond in this man’s heart, but he knows it makes Rosalie happy. (Plus, afterwards it is worth the time.) Emmett also cannot stand to see Rosalie in pain. He hates it when she gets down on herself about not being human. It breaks his heart to see her gorgeous form troubled.
habits • Teasing is a major habit of this oversized, metal-like, teddy bear. It is usually all in good fun, but sometimes he takes it overboard. Emmett likes to be better than everyone. Sometimes, subconsciously, teasing is the only way to allow him to feel superior. He doesn’t mean to seem rude and ignorant, but it is a part of him of which he cannot let go.
fears • Emmett is afraid of being bested. Nothing pains him more than losing. Well, there are two things that would pain him more. Rosalie and the rest of his family are his main priorities. If anything were to happen to them, Emmett would lose control. They are his entire eternity, and nothing will stop him from exacting revenge if anything were to happen. His overall fear is of losing, but in particular it is the loss of him love and family that is the most painful thought for him.
goals • His current, most simple goal is to outrun Edward. Emmett takes his goals day by day. He figures that with a lifespan of forever, he does not have to think too much ahead.
overall personality •
Loving: Emmett has the heart of a teddy bear hidden within that tough, thick, rock-like skin of his. He feels for everyone who suffers, and he will do anything to stop that suffering. His love is mainly focused on his family and his Rosalie, but it does extend beyond that on occasion. Pain is not something that he likes to see others go through unless he is watching the pain of an enemy. This pain he can bask in.
Determined: Once he gets his mind set to something, Emmett is not easy to distract. If it comes to getting a job done, Emmett is your man. After all, he does not need to sleep. He will work endlessly for days to finish anything that he begins. Determination also comes into play when it comes to being competitive.
Competitive: His strength gives him the perfect edge for a competitor. The energy Emmett gets from being successful at being the best is almost impossible to top. He likes winning. It is as simple as that. Emmett likes the glory. He likes the attention most of the time.
Protective: Emmett’s family and friends are his utmost concern. Nothing can threaten them without his anger being set off. He does not like things threatening his way of life. Nothing is too strong or too much for him to do if it is between his family’s safety or his own. They are his world, and Emmett will go to the ends of the Earth to protect those he loves.
Dominant: He likes to be in charge. Emmett often feels that no one can do it right other than himself. This sometimes upsets Rosalie…or at least Emmett thinks it does. Emmett has been working hard to allow himself to be lead by the others in his family. So far, it has been going very well, but sometimes it truly does eat him up inside.
Rude: Sometimes Emmett’s manners leave much to be desired. He is often accused of being rude when he had no intention of it. Teasing is a part of his daily routine, but it is not uncommon for him to take it too far. People rarely tell him that he was rude because they fear his vengeance, but sometimes he can push people over the edge.
Playful/Childish: Emmett has the attention span of a small child when he does not have an extreme task to keep his mind occupied. Simple games and television shows can help keep him calm, but sometimes his energy is too much for even the most simplistic of joys. Rosalie is a perfect solution to his energy problem, but when she is not around the crazy Emmett often gets loose. He likes to play pranks, tease, and cause havoc. He is much like the little brother that always gets the older siblings in trouble…only he is the one that gets in trouble…most of the time.

history • (I plan on fleshing this out more eventually)
Emmett does not remember much of his past in Tennessee. His family is all a blur to him. Something has always made him feel like there were two parents and a few siblings. Horses and fences are often prevalent in some of his extremely shadowy flashes of his past and his vague human memories. He knows that he was born and raised in Tennessee. He also knows that that is where his almost fatal accident occurred.
This day he remembers. He was in the good old mountains of Tennessee when his role as hunter changed to that of the hunted. A ferocious bear was headed toward him, and his weapon seemed to be suddenly incapable of fulfilling its purpose. The creature began to pursue him as he took off at a run. It was not long before he was overtaken. The animal began to claw and gnash its teeth at the twenty year old. Emmett let out the slightest of moans as the creature’s determined roar pierced the nearly silent mountain side. A scream echoed as the first bite caused searing pain to coarse through his right leg. The animal’s teeth began to rip, tear, pierce, and puncture as the predator dug into its prey. Something caused it to run off, however.
It was than that he first saw his angel. As if she was glowing, a woman with yellow locks stared down upon him. Words refused to grace his lips. The pain surging through him made sure to keep him silent, but her beauty drowned out the pain for just a moment. His final piece of memory from this day was his body being lifted by something as cold as ice. Everything went black from there. When he woke up, everything was different, but that angel that had saved him had not left. She never would from that day on.
It was not long before they were married. He owed her an eternity, and he would never complain about giving it to her. The things that others disliked about the girl, he adored. She was his angel. Carlisle was his angel as well. They had saved his life…or at least stopped his death. He could not be more grateful. Becoming a vampire was physically painful at first, but as things began to be brought to his attention, this life was how he had wanted to live. Emmett could be carefree, in love, and unbelievably strong. What more could he want?
He now loves his entire family. Nothing can possibly stop him from protecting them (expect for Rosalie). He is happily married to the woman who saved his life and has his heart. Emmett is fond of Bella and Edward now that his initial jitters have subsided. He was concerned about the effect Bella’s existence would have on Rosalie’s and the family’s safety and happiness. His main focus now is to keep Rosalie happy. He also feels another wedding coming on. Emmett is kind of hoping that he has a decade or two before he has to do all that again, but each minute of the planning is worth it when it finally comes down to seeing Rose in those gorgeous dresses that Alice is most likely involved in picking. Emmett is a happy person (at least for the time being).

She was oblivious to say the least. Bailee’s thoughts seemed to overcome the real outside noises as well as those caused by a playful group of boys not far away. Nothing about them had been distracting enough to break her dreamy state. This newfound freedom was infecting her like an illness. The power of it as it took over her bloodstream was unstoppable. Ecstasy was hers that day. Her beaming smile said it all. How could one not smile when God had given them so glorious a day to take a breath of fresh air? God! Bailee must thank him for this opportunity. No one but God himself would have the power to stop requests from coming her way. Her vigilance with other people’s work had finally paid. Bailee’s smile now reflected that of a serene young adult who was preparing for prayer. Her fingers interlaced, her head bowed, and her eyes closed as her soft pink lips quietly murmured a personal prayer of thanksgiving.
The whistling noise was not just a passing bug or far off sound. It was the sound of an incoming object that Bailee immediately knew would not feel particularly pleasant against her face. Wait, what was it that was flying toward her? She was staring straight at it, eyes wide, mouth open from the closing word of her prayer. That moment of hesitation solidified the ball’s fate directly into the girl’s face. The time between her shouted word and the impact was only a few seconds, but within Bailee’s mind the time gap was enormous. The scene played out in slow motion. The ball’s rotation gave it the appearance of a menacing force. A pang of fear mixed with everything else occurring within the girl’s emotions. Despite the impending pain, her face still contained a slight smile with the corners of her mouth turned upward. Wsh…thwack…guhboom…bum, bum, bum, bah, bah ,bah, bahbahbahbah…shhhh. The ball planted itself directly in the center of her face. Luckily, its landing spot was just two inches high enough to miss the girl’s delicate nose. Bailee’s eyes rolled back as the force startled her and knocked her off her already flighty balance. It was not surprising that she immediately fell to the floor. The ball bounced upon the stones making a noise that would remind one of a little boy fleeing the scene of his freshly performed crime. It was then that the ball was silenced as though an adult had caught that mischievous little boy in the act of wrong doing. Feet caused this sudden silence.
This stop caused enough difference in the sound of the entire area to catch the Hufflepuff’s attention. No, she was not exactly in her normal state of mind, but she was aware that someone else was now present. Bailee wanted to see who this person was. Her shoulders began to lift from the ground, and her eyes flickered open awkwardly one at a time. This attempt failed as the pain and dizziness caused by the ball took over. A dull pulse began to pound at her head. Oh dear, this was going to be another one of those days. ”Uh….yeash...just…thanks…” Her words were spoken for the boy to hear but spoken oddly. Bailee would come around in a few moments. At least, she knew she would be okay in just a few if things went as usual. Her eyes closed as she fell softly back to the ground a smile still curved her lips softly. She would be better soon, but until then she was stuck against the ground. She did not want him to feel obligated to help her. It was never her intention to be so needy. He didn’t need to help her. She was convinced that she did not deserve his help. It was her fault that the ball hit her in the first place. Why should the boy take time to come to her aid? She was always convinced that she did not deserve any help from anyone. Yet, Bailee almost always needed help. No one would ever be able to convince her that she was not a burden to them. At least, no one had yet.
Dear Lord, You have been so kind as to give me the gift of a creative pen. You’re Majesty has granted me the ability to help others within their daily lives. Thank You for sparing Your holy thoughts for a simple girl like me. Father, please watch over my family. Help my mother to see past her condemnation of my educational choices. Help my brother and father to better their home life while withstanding the wrath of momma. Guide their hands to do the good that You, Almighty Father, have given them to do. Thank You from the very bottom of the heart and soul You have blessed me with. Through Your Son, Jesus Christ, forever and ever.
An almost silent whistle resulted from the ball’s flight through the air. This barely audible sound was a small hiss to the very acute hearing of the Hufflepuff. While still mumbling, the blonde slowly lifted her head and slightly parted her eyelids. She was verging on the end of her prayer, but something caused her lips to move a lot fast, her eyes to widen more than usual, and her last word of the prayer be shouted. Amen!
