It's at times like these the great heaven knows That we wish we had not so many clothes So let's loosen up with a playful tease Like all lovers did through the centuries
Amanda's long blonde hair blew gently in the cold breeze. Her blue green eyes darted around looking at all the faces that looked at her. She looked away faster then they did. She was searching, looking for some sign of others like her, other vampires. As she walked threw the door she breathed deeply, it was like a buffet of scents here. So many delicious scents, her nostrils flared slightly and her throat burned a little. She should have eaten today in the woods but she just got so side tracked by the scent of what she knew had to be a vampire. But as she walked slowly threw the mall she caught no trace of another.
We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me? We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me?
Her mind wandered back to when she and her mother would come to the mall. They would shop for hours, trying on all kinds of cloths. She missed her mother, but she knew if she went back to florida now there would be a lot of explaining to do. She wasn't quite in the mood to explain why she was paler, and what was with the weird color of her eyes along with the bags that stayed below them. She walked into a little store and shifted threw some shirts. A bright pink one caught her eye and as she pulled it off the rack she smiled. It was the same shirt her mother had. Bright pink with white daisies all over it, she had to have it. She already had her size, so she walked toward the service desk to pay when she caught a slight scent that differed from the others. It was to faint to follow but her breathing picked up as she searched for it some more.
When it gets so hot the end of the day You may find your clothes getting in the way If a pretty dress hides your true desire Fold it nice and slow, throw it on the fire
Standing in line she could feel the eyes of people on her, they were looking her up and down. Once or twice she would glance around and lock eyes with some stranger who clearly envied her beauty. She looked at it as a curse, how do you find love when every man out there thinks your hot? Who out there would think she was smart, funny, even quirky? She sighed as the lady in front of her moved out of the way and it was her turn to pay. "Will this be all for you today ma'am?"The girl who said it not only sounded bored but looked it as well, that is until she looked at Amanda full on. Her eyes filled with envy like so many did here. "Yes this will be it for me, thank you."The words were like a song, perfect melody. A fake smile filled the girls face and she rang up the shirt. "Thirteen fifty-nine is your total, will it be cash or charge?" Who cared cash these day? Amanda pulled her card out of her Coach wallet. "Charge." She had grown bored with this fake little game, and wanted to be out quickly, she haded her card to her and waited as she finished the sale. Suddenly there was the scent again.
We don't need to see what the butler saw Or a mirrored room with a mirrored floor All those sneaky looks gazing down on you Are no substitute for our rendezvous
She grab the bag and card from the girl and rushed out before she losted the smell. She followed it for five minutes before it became to faint. Pissed again she stalked around the mall wasting time. What else was there to really do? This place was so small, there only other place she could shop was Seattle and she wasn't wasting all that gas to go out there after all her truck did cost a pretty penny to fill up. It was the last gift her mother had given her and it was the last time she sean her. The black Ford F-250 was her pride and joy, bigger then any truck around here she was the envy of all the guys. She love to show off, race the local high school boys.
If you think it's cheap or a bit risque Please don't say a word I'll just slip away I am not a man who believes in lies Like an octopus with big x-ray eyes
A smile crossed her lips as she wandered around. She might run into some cute guy here. Maybe she'd find the owner of that new scent. She just waled in a circle around the mall, randomly going into the stores looking around. She didn't think about anything anymore, just that she was happy to have something to do for once. She would hunt later that night to get rid of the little burn in her throat. Tomorrow her eyes would be brighter and everyone would stare at her some more. Amanda smiled at that thought, she liked being envied a little. It did make her feel special. She kept walking with her little smile, looking around.
Don't freeze up girl, you're looking quite a sight Be generous, I want it all tonight

Yfall.into.me;;YYYand I need you to know you can fall into methat my arms are wide open and will always be;; ----------------------- Esme sighed, her long white fingers tapping against the steering wheel as she waited for the red light to turn green. After what seemed like only a few seconds, the light flickered from red to green. The engine’s steady thrumming spiked as she pressed the pedal down reflexively, and the Mercedes slid forward smoothly, swinging left, toward the Forks Mall. Esme was very bored -she had already cleaned the house, folded laundry and done every imaginable chores at least twice, before deciding a trip to the mall was necessary- and she could get some holiday shopping done, too. Christmas was a few months away still, but she would have to wait to get Edward’s present. And there was still the problem of Alice. . .
She sighed as she pulled into the parking lot of the mall, easily sliding into a small space beside a jet black Ford F250. Gauging by the distance between the wheel wells and the knobby, over-sized tires, the truck had a lift kit. 8 inches, at least, she decided. It looked slightly modified. . Hmmm. . . She though, glancing over at the truck calculatingly. Emmett liked off-roading. His Jeep was a testament to that fact. She smiled a crooked smile, and, suddenly, she knew what Emmett’s Christmas present would be. Hopefully, Alice and Edward wouldn’t spoil it for her. They both knew how much joy Esme took in seeing her children happy. They wouldn’t tell Emmett.
With one Christmas present already decided, she quickly exited the Mercedes, locking the doors and pocketing the keys while making a mental note to go with Rosalie to the Dodge dealer in Port Angeles. Rosalie knew Emmett, and cars, well. Taking her would indefinitely be an asset. The automatic doors slid open with a hiss, and the warm air, along with the scents of hundreds of different humans, billowed over her willowy frame. She stopped for a second, pondering which store to go to first. Deciding on a book store, she headed off in the direction where the smell of paper and ink was coming from. Carlisle had said he wanted a new book. . .
Inhaling another breath, she was stopped short by the scent of vampire wafted toward her by the humans bustling about. This wasn’t either of her children-neither Jasper, nor Alice, Edward nor Rosalie, nor Emmett. It was a foreign scent, and she was immediately intrigued. She inhaled again, decided to follow that scent. After a couple minutes of wandering around at the slow human pace, the scent lead her to a small sporting goods store. She spotted her then, a pale, beautiful girl wandering slowly around, like she was looking for someone. Undoubtedly, she was a vampire-the owner of the mysterious scent. She stopped, casually opening her purse, and rummaging around it to find her phone. Carlisle would need to know about this. This new vampire had to know about the treaty. . . Esme’s fingers quickly flew over the buttons, but Carlisle didn’t pick up. She sighed, turned toward a wall, and left a voicemail, her musical voice trilling so fast that the humans stood no chance of hearing, let along understanding. She snapped her phone shut with a twist of her fingers, and shoving it in her purse as she walked toward the girl.

It's at times like these the great heaven knows That we wish we had not so many clothes So let's loosen up with a playful tease Like all lovers did through the centuries
Amanda's thoughts wandered about. Her mind was never this off track, she couldn't pick one thing to think about. She thought off her mother some more, of the scents she kept picking up. She knew the next time she went on a hunt that if she caught the scent she would stop her hunt again. This couldn't happen, it's been near a week since she had blood. Her thirst pricked at her throat for a moment, she cringed slightly. It was a little painful, so tonight she would hunt alone yet again. Being alone was the worst, but thinking there might be others out there was even harder. What if they were hiding from her? No thats a silly thought, who would hide from her. She would, that's who. No human should readily except a vampire and the darkness that came with it.
We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me? We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me?
But as she thought about that she realized she had done just that. Meet a vampire an accepted his dark offer. Well he had already bitten her so her choice was being one of the undead or being dead. The second offer wasn't really that favorable. She slowly mad her way into a store that looked interesting. It was a nice little sporting goods store, but why did she need anything here. She didn't really, it was just something to do. All the men in the store turned to look at her as she entered, a sales rep just stared with his mouth open instead of greeting her. She gave them all a sexy smile cause them all to turn away. They were all either married, to old, or to young for her.
When it gets so hot the end of the day You may find your clothes getting in the way If a pretty dress hides your true desire Fold it nice and slow, throw it on the fire
As she picked threw the items in the store she could feel someone watching her. It was a different kind of watching, hard to explain but it was new. She glanced around quickly, no one in here was looking at her anymore. Her mind thought of a million things at once. The main thought that stuck out was that her creator had come to find her, come to take her way from this life of searching. It was something that if she could dream would fill her nights. Suddenly a scent pricked her nose. She spun around to look out the door. The lady was still several yards away but the scent was unmistakable, a vampire.
We don't need to see what the butler saw Or a mirrored room with a mirrored floor All those sneaky looks gazing down on you Are no substitute for our rendezvous
She didn't know what to do, she never thought she'd really find another. Not here in the Forks Mall! If she was human she would have broke out in a sweat. She was fearful, of what she didn't know. She hadn't meet any vampires since her creator. This was all so scary to her. She looked around and realized the guys were all looking at her again but this time they looked at her like she was crazy. She suddenly started walking toward the vampire, her steps quick and swift. She didn't want to speak here, there was so much she wanted to know. Like if there was any others, how many more, what did they feed upon. The last thought came into her mind and she slowed, what if they killed humans, that was something she couldn't do. She valued life to much.
If you think it's cheap or a bit risque Please don't say a word I'll just slip away I am not a man who believes in lies Like an octopus with big x-ray eyes
As the gap between her and the fair lady closed her calm her mind. Her face showed no signs of fear or anything else for that matter. She smiled, and got ready for one of the biggest moments to ever happen to her next to becoming a vampire. She stopped a few feet from the lady and waited for her to close the rest of the gap. The men were still staring but at least now it look like she knew this person and she was greeting them. She wasn't about to expose herself, it didn't take a genius to know that she had to hide what she was.
Don't freeze up girl, you're looking quite a sight Be generous, I want it all tonight

Yfall.into.me;;YYYand I need you to know you can fall into methat my arms are wide open and will always be;; ----------------------- Esme glanced around casually at the crowded shoppers, scurrying about with cellphones glued to their ears, chattering incesantly, and shopping bags hanging from their arms. Many, to judge from their many various bags, were finishing their Christmas shopping for their families. She looked for the girl again, and spotted her walking out of the sporting goods store, the male clerks staring with astonished, dumbfounded expressions after her as she made her way over to where Esme stood, a little too still.
Shifting her weight to her left foot, and her bag to her right arm, she smiled tentatively at the girl vampire. She seemed nervous, and guarded, wariliy looking back as Esme with strange blue-greenish eyes. Esme's brow wrinkled momentarily in confusion; usually, vampires only had golden eyes -if they were 'vegitarians', like herself- or crimson eyes -if they had traditional feeding habits- but never had she seen one with blue eyes. She wondered why idly, as she took a few steps toward the other vampire, quickly closing the distance between them.
Her liquid gold eyes were warm as a small, uncertain smile traced itself onto her pale pink lips, and she stopped a few feet away from the girl, within the acceptable conversational bubble. Normally, she wouldn't have to stand so close to have conversations with her family -she could easily here the clerks conversing with each other in the small antique shop at the other end of the mall, and the rumble of the car engine at the intersection a couple hundred meters from the mall parking lot-, but with humans about, she had to be extra careful.
She pondered about what to say, thinking about how the girl would react to her. Her experience told her that vampires generally didn't trust very easily. But Esme was a motherly woman, and, though she had never had any real children, she intensly loved her family, and she would be friendly toward this strange vampire.
"Hello," She began in a normal human voice, smiling. She lowered her voice to just below human hearing range, to address her further. "I couldn't help but notice I wasn't the only vampire in the mall. . . She shifted her stance again, and tilted her head slightly, curious to see how this other vampire would react.

It's at times like these the great heaven knows That we wish we had not so many clothes So let's loosen up with a playful tease Like all lovers did through the centuries
Amanda's smile stuck for a moment as she listened to the words that came from the lady. She thought for second, so this truly was a vampire before her. Her smile grew wider and she had an urge to hug the lady in front of her. She hadn't been really happy in a long time but no longer being alone filled a void inside of her. She blinked and then her smile faded as she thought of what to say.
We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me? We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me?
"Hello," was all she could get out at first. She was nervous. As she put her thoughts together so furrowed her brow thinking of what to say next. Her words came out perfectly and to the point. "It would seam so. You can't understand how truly happy I am to find I am not alone. The one who made me left after I was bitten so I know very little about the world I have been tossed into. Maybe if you don't mind you could kind of help me, what I mean is that maybe you could show me the ropes around here. I just moved her and I know very little about the surrounding area so hunting is kind of limited to the woods behind my house." Suddenly she realized that maybe this vampire didn't hunt like she did, maybe she enjoyed the taste of human blood. She let a little shiver run up her spine as she thought about that.
When it gets so hot the end of the day You may find your clothes getting in the way If a pretty dress hides your true desire Fold it nice and slow, throw it on the fire
Her eyes narrowed and her brow became tense, she didn't want to be told that she was a fool missing out on the best thing out there. But something seamed different about the lady, her eyes were a soft golden color not like the bright red of her maker. Maybe everyone had different eyes, or maybe she was a freak with blue eyes. All she knew was that she might have said to much and now she was slightly worried. But she tried not to let on, even thought her eyes tended to show all her emotions.
We don't need to see what the butler saw Or a mirrored room with a mirrored floor All those sneaky looks gazing down on you Are no substitute for our rendezvous
She forced a smile upon her face making it seam like nothing was wrong. "Your scent is familiar, You must have been in the woods around my house. But there are also several other scants I have picked up, is it that there are others like us here too? Do you know them?"She was rushing ahead a little, being that she was never one to beat around the bush she always got right to the point. Never holding her thoughts back she asked one more question. "You're looking at me a little funny, is there something on my face?" She brushed her hand on her check checking for something on her face and felt nothing. It must be something else, but what.
If you think it's cheap or a bit risque Please don't say a word I'll just slip away I am not a man who believes in lies Like an octopus with big x-ray eyes
She was standing to still! She shifted her weight from her left foot to her right and tapped her fingers on her thigh like she was busy. It was all an act, after what happen in her class one night she learned to move more human like. Sitting or standing to still made people stare in wonder and that was the last thing she wanted, people staring more then they already did. Her eyes darted around for a second and then back on the vampire. "I am Amanda by the way. Amanda Bear." She suddenly realized how rude she was being and tried to fix what she could. What would happen now was all she could think, was this going to be a good thing or not.
Don't freeze up girl, you're looking quite a sight Be generous, I want it all tonight

Yfall.into.me;;YYYand I need you to know you can fall into methat my arms are wide open and will always be;; ----------------------- Esme smiled in relief as the girl began to talk in a fast, trilling voice, a smile on her lips that echoed Esme’s. She seemed very happy to see another vampire, and her words quickly explained why.
"Hello. It would seem so. You can't understand how truly happy I am to find I am not alone. The one who made me left after I was bitten so I know very little about the world I have been tossed into. Maybe if you don't mind you could kind of help me, what I mean is that maybe you could show me the ropes around here. I just moved her and I know very little about the surrounding area so hunting is kind of limited to the woods behind my house." Esme’s smile faltered as the girl explained why she was so happy, and turned into a frown. This poor girl had absolutely no idea what it meant to be a vampire, and her creator, obviously, wasn’t very responsible. He had created a newborn vampire, and candidly violated the Volturi rules at the same time. He had just left, apparently, and Esme’s frown deepened when she thought of all the things that may have gone wrong. The poor girl was clueless, and could have easily exposed the vampire race. She would have been marked for execution from that second on. She would have had no chance against the Volturi.
"Of course I will help you," Esme said kindly, smiling fondly at the girl. She hoped Carlisle would hear her voicemail, and come. He could help explain vampirism to this confused girl; he would understand completely. If there was one thing Esme could trust in this constantly changing world, it was Carlisle's compassionate, loving nature. He was perfect, in every way possible, and she had thanked her lucky stars many times over that she had the good fortune to be married to such a beautiful, loving man.
"Your scent is familiar, You must have been in the woods around my house. But there are also several other scents I have picked up, is it that there are others like us here too? Do you know them?" The girl rushed ahead excitedly. Esme smiled again, nodding. The girl had probably come across Carlisle's scent, as well as Emmett and her other childrens' scent; they were well settled into the surrounding woodlands of their home. But this girl had not strayed far, if she hadn't come upon her big white house in the woods.
"Yes, there are many of our kind around here. They are my family-my children, my husband and myself. You see, my family, we are different from the rest of the vampires," She began, a radiant smile lighting up her pale face at the thought of her family. Carlisle, Emmett, Rosalie, Alice, Jasper, Edward. . . Bella. They were the only reason she existed at all, and for them she prayed every night. It was for them that her heart swelled with joy every time she thought of them, for them that her smile glowed whenever they were happy, for them that she lived at all. She had been blessed to have such a beautiful family, such a loving husband. "You see, most vampires roam around alone, feeding off of humans. But my family and I. . . we are different. We only feed off animals, and we live together like a family, all 7 of us. My husband, Carlisle, works at the hopsital, and my 6 children go to school at Forks High School. And I love all them dearly. . ."
"You're looking at me a little funny, is there something on my face?" The girl asked, a worried look crossing her face as she reached up to wipe something away. Esme trilled a laugh, and shook her head; "No, no. Your eyes are just unusual. . . I've never seen a vampire with blue eyes. They usually have red eyes, or gold ones, like my family," She explained, smiling soothingly.
"I am Amanda by the way. Amanda Bear," The girl explained, a little belatedly. Smiling warmly at Amanda, Esme introduced herself. "I'm Esme Cullen. Pleased to meet you." She thought for a moment, before adding in a low voice, "I think we should go somewhere more secluded. . . The humans are getting restless. . ."

It's at times like these the great heaven knows That we wish we had not so many clothes So let's loosen up with a playful tease Like all lovers did through the centuries
As the words of the other filled her head her thoughts raced along beside them. She had asked so much and was learning a lot right now. She wasn't sure what to really think, her mind was a mess of what ifs and maybes. She stared at the one before her a smile on her lips, her excitement was building. She was at last not alone. She glanced around and saw the men in the store straining to listen, but their voices were far to fast and low right now. She smiled a little wider as her eyes made contact with the wide mouthed salesman from before. He didn't smile back, just blushed and turned away, something she was growing used to.
We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me? We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me?
Looking back at the lady she listened intently. If her heart were still beating it surely would have skipped a beat right at the moment she said she would help. Her excitement swelled even greater and her smile grew. Maybe they would become good friends. Perhaps everything would work out for the best now. There was still the little issue of what she ate, animals and not humans. The other scents she had smelled were of her family. Yet again her heart would have speed up at this point. A family, maybe they were all as nice as she was. She listened intently as the lady went on, because she mentioned how they were different.
When it gets so hot the end of the day You may find your clothes getting in the way If a pretty dress hides your true desire Fold it nice and slow, throw it on the fire
She was now learning of her race, getting facts that she desired. Most vampire roamed alone the lady told her, that meant her want and need for others was wrong. That didn't surprise Amanda, she never followed the rules and did whatever she wanted. They didn't take human life! She almost did a dance right there, her mind skidded to a stand still. She didn't know what to think now only that she was very happy right now in that moment. She was no longer alone, she would have others to hunt with and hang out with. It was all she had thought of for the last several months and at last it was coming true.
We don't need to see what the butler saw Or a mirrored room with a mirrored floor All those sneaky looks gazing down on you Are no substitute for our rendezvous
She frowned slightly as she was told her eyes were different, she wasn't sure how to take that. Was it a good thing? What about the fact that she could she right threw people and their lies or their act of happiness, was that different too. Why couldn't she just be normal, she didn't need there to be anything that made her stand out. But now there was apparently. Her lovely blue eyes that got greener when she was hungry and bluer when she was full. It was just something she noticed one day. But why did she have to be different, it always made things just that much harder.
If you think it's cheap or a bit risque Please don't say a word I'll just slip away I am not a man who believes in lies Like an octopus with big x-ray eyes
Esme. It was a beautiful name. She smiled a little wider realizing she hadn't stopped smiling yet. She glanced around as she spoke of the humans and nodded. They were watching very closely and trying very hard to hear what two amazingly gorgeous ladies could be saying."Good idea Esme, by the way I love your name, but where can we go? I have a little house not far from here, or we could go to yours. I would love to meet the rest of your family, you can't understand how happy I am that you dont," She lowered her voice even more so no human could hear her "dine on our human friends. Where ever you'd like to go I shall follow." Her words were sincere and she was very excited to get the chance to talk and learn more. Shoe was getting a little antsy, wanting to be out of the mall.
Don't freeze up girl, you're looking quite a sight Be generous, I want it all tonight

Where ever you'd like to go I shall follow," Amanda said sincerely, an excited smile on her lips. Esme's smile echoed Amanda's, and she shifted her weight to the other leg, fidgetting with her coat as she noticed the humans staring at her. They probably didn't even see her lips move when she talked-human senses, especially their eyes, were so weak. She frowned slightly; if Amanda came to the Cullen home, there was always the problem of Edward's neurotic obsessiveness with Bella's saftey and other vampires. But Amanda obviously didn't feast on humans. Her eyes plainly said that. . . Maybe Carlisle could figure out why she had blue eyes. He was good at that sort of thing.
"I'd have to call Carlisle first, if you'd like to meet our family. My son is. . . a bit neurotic when it comes to his Bella's safety, and he might act irritated, but don't take it the wrong way. He's just stressed right now. But I don't think Carlisle would object to meeting you," Esme said with a smile. He would at least take the time to explain vampirism to Amanda, Esme could count on that. But Edward. . . He would be a different story. She sighed, pondering this problem, before she decided on a compromise. "Well, we could go out to the parking lot for now, and I'll call my husband quickly."
Esme smiled, gesturing for Amanda to come, as she set off for the west exit, where she'd parking Carlisle's black Mercedes S55 AMG. She wove her way through the thick crowds, mumbling many belated apologies when she accidently brushed against a human. Her cold skin was an instant repellant, and one man, who she had accidently bumped into, exclaimed loudly in surprise. Esme smiled apologetically.
Finally, after walking through the crowded shopping mall, she made it out into the parking lot, smiling over at Amanda as she spied her black truck. "By the way, what kind of lift kit do you have in there? I was thinking about getting my son a truck for Christmas. . . ." Esme mused, and she stopped by the Mercedes, leaning slightly against the hood of the car as she waited for Amanda to catch up.

It's at times like these the great heaven knows That we wish we had not so many clothes So let's loosen up with a playful tease Like all lovers did through the centuries
As Esme shifted so did Amanda, she made it seam like she was about to leave. Before they could really go anywhere Esme would have to call her husband Carlisle, but they couldn’t stay here in the mall and talk about being a vampire. She glanced around once more and saw that people were looking still. She fussed with the bag that held her new shirt in it and glanced back at Esme. She smiled and nodded her head. The parking lot would be good.
We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me? We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me?
As they made their way out Amanda stayed two steps behind Esme. She wasn’t totally relaxed, still a little nervous and she didn’t want to invade her bubble of personal space. She watched as Esme brushed against an older man, the look on his face almost made Amanda laugh out loud. It was like he had been shocked. She was very careful not to get to close to anyone, she copied how Esme moved around them realizing it might not be the best thing to go around touching humans.
When it gets so hot the end of the day You may find your clothes getting in the way If a pretty dress hides your true desire Fold it nice and slow, throw it on the fire
As they made their way out she couldn’t help but wonder who was Bella. And why was she her sons Bella. She must be his wife or something but why is there a need to protect her form her? She pursed her lips for a moment and decided to wait until they were outside to ask who Bella was and why she need protection. She smiled again as she saw her baby, her lovely Jet Black Ford F-250. The truck she had always wanted since she was little and now was hers. She glanced at the car next to hers, a Mercedes S54 AMG. She looked over the car like it was a good looking guy or something, she loved cars and couldn’t hide it.
We don't need to see what the butler saw Or a mirrored room with a mirrored floor All those sneaky looks gazing down on you Are no substitute for our rendezvous
Now that they were outside she let her big mouth open. ”I used Skyjacker lift kits, they are the best. I ordered it online and did it myself. I am a bit of a car and truck fanatic. If you don’t mind me asking, who is Bella? And why would your son be worried about her safety? Surely as a vampire she can care for herself can she not?” She was confused as to why her safety mattered so much and was just being nosey.

Yfall.into.me;;YYYand I need you to know you can fall into methat my arms are wide open and will always be;; ----------------------- ”I used Skyjacker lift kits, they are the best. I ordered it online and did it myself. I am a bit of a car and truck fanatic," Amanda explained. Esme nodded, tilting her head to one side as she inspected the truck further, and making a mental note to ask Rosalie about Skyjacker liftkits. She smiled, thinking about Rosalie. "Ah, you would get along well with Rosalie. She's the mechanic of our family. Gave Carlisle's Mercedes a boost, and a couple aftermarket gadgets. ." She mused, smiling at Amanda. Maybe, maybe not. . . Rosalie didn't often get along well with anyone, besides Emmett and Alice. Her relationship with Bella was strained enough as it was, without having to add some other form of stress. . .
"If you don’t mind me asking, who is Bella? And why would your son be worried about her safety? Surely as a vampire she can care for herself can she not?" Amanda asked, looking confused. Esme sighed, and thought for a moment about how best to explain it, without alienating Amanda. Most vampires found Edward's relationship with a human to be very odd, since he was fighting his very nature every time he was near Bella. Her blood seemed especially potent to him, but she still smelled very appetizing, even to Esme. She remembered Bella's birthday party at the house, and shuddered involuntarily. . . Edward's tortured looked, Bella's surpise. . . And Jasper. . . The distant, animal look in his eyes still haunted her. And then Edward had left Bella. . . Those months had been unbearable for Esme. Everyone was sad, and Edward was so distant. . . So emotionless. Dead..
She shook her head free of those dark, painful memories that would never fade, and looked up at Amanda again. "Well, my family is more different that others that I first explained. You see, my son, Edward, fell in love with a human. But not just any human. The worst danger magnet ever. . . And Edward gets very nervous when she's away from him. Her blood is so much worse for him that it is for me, and the rest of the vampires, but she still smells tempting. Hence Edward's neurotic behaviour when other vampires are about. He doesn't want to take the chance of Bella being hurt, or killed. He wouldn't survive that. Not again. . ." She said, her voice trailing off at the end, lost in her memories of Edward, and the Volturi. . . She wouldn't have survived that, either. Her children were her life, and if one of them were killed. . . She didn't want to think about that.
"I'll call Carlisle quickly, and see what he makes of the situation," Esme concluded after a short silence, a small smile forming on her lips at the thought of her husband. She quickly pulled her phone out of her purse, hitting the speed dial button for Carlisle's work number, and glancing at her Rolex watch; his shift would end in about an hour, enough time to warn Edward and the rest of her family. "Hello, this is Carlisle. I can't come to the phone right now, but please leave a message after the beep." Carlisle's message greeted her ears after about 10 rings. Frowning in frustration -Carlisle almost always picked up-, Esme reluctantly left another message: "Hello, Carlisle, it's me. Can you come down to the mall, please? It's urgent; I'm in the west parking lot. I took your car, sorry, but you have the Volvo anyways, so please hurry. It's important. I love you. Bye." she sighed in defeat, and closed her phone sharply, worried about Carlisle. Why wasn't he answering his phone?
"Well, it might take him a while to get to my messages, so, while we wait for him, I could answer any other questions, though Carlisle is much better. . . Anything you want to know? Oh, and I must warn you, there is a pack of werewolves down in La Push, and we have a treaty with them -Carlisle can explain it to you when he gets here- but be warned. They're not the biggest fan of vampires, and I'd hate to see you get in trouble with them," She explained with a sigh, looking questioningly up at Amanda, her golden eyes slightly worried and inquisitive.

It's at times like these the great heaven knows That we wish we had not so many clothes So let's loosen up with a playful tease Like all lovers did through the centuries
The wind out here blew scents around like crazy, Her thirst pricked slightly has she thought about the fact that she hadn't hunted. But getting frustrated and leaving the woods she had come to the right place to have all her dreams made true. She smiled at the thought of another female that liked cars. It was so hard to come across girls who were into things like that. Suddenly Esme’s face was clouded with a pained expression. Amanda wasn’t sure what had caused this but she had a feeling it had to do with talking about bella.
We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me? We're just following ancient history If I strip for you will you strip for me?
As she listened to Esme talk she suddenly understood. Her son loved a danger magnet, a human danger magnet with an amazing scent that caused others to want her. She thought for a moment and suddenly blurted out, ”It’s a good thing your son was the vampire to find her then and not some blood thirsty jerk. I am very happy that your son has found love, even if it’s a little unconventional. And you have my promise that I will be very careful and watchful while I am around Bella.” She knew that she could resist that scent of Bella and her blood, she didn’t ever want to be the reason that someone lost their life.
When it gets so hot the end of the day You may find your clothes getting in the way If a pretty dress hides your true desire Fold it nice and slow, throw it on the fire
She watched as Esme called her husband, she could tell there was no answer by the look on her face. Amanda wondered what he was doing that would keep him from answering. Suddenly she realized she didn’t know were her phone was. She put her hands on her front pockets and felt her credit card in her right pocket. She was a little worried, that was a new phone, so her hands flew to her back pockets and she realized that it was in her back left pocket. She sighed, she didn’t want anything to happen to this phone, she had been the one to buy it. Her eyes drifted back to Esme.
We don't need to see what the butler saw Or a mirrored room with a mirrored floor All those sneaky looks gazing down on you Are no substitute for our rendezvous
She had many questions, all of them were filling her mind at the same time. But she wasn’t sure where to start or how to really say it. But suddenly her thoughts were on the werewolves, she had never thought they would be real. ”You must be joking, werewolves? Good thing I found this out today, I was planning on going to La Push tomorrow to check it out!” That was a close call, something very bad could have happened. She involintarily cringed at the thought of running into a werewolf. Not something she planned to do anytime soon.
If you think it's cheap or a bit risque Please don't say a word I'll just slip away I am not a man who believes in lies Like an octopus with big x-ray eyes
Amanda was interested in why Esme and her family chose to live life the same as she. It was a sort of pain to resist the one thing you crave the most. ”Esme Why have you chosen to live off animals? I do it because I could never take the life of another. But your whole family does it. It’s amazing that I am not the only one who lives this way. Are there others like us or are we alone in our habits?’ It was a simple question, but it meant a lot. It was a life choice that had to be made by each person. Something they all were willing to live without. It was hard. She looking longingly at Esme, still in a slight daze.
Don't freeze up girl, you're looking quite a sight Be generous, I want it all tonight

wheni'mwithyou;;when i’m with you i’ll make every second countcause I miss you gggggggggggggggggggggggggggg Had it only been six hours? Surely Carlisle hadn’t been working that long .He’d only done a Laparoscopy and a pancreas transplant today. Time really does fly..even for a vampire .To think that this was meant to be Carlisle’s day off , if one of the doctors hadn’t called in sick. Then again , if He had been off , He would have been by himself anyway. Esme wanted to go shopping by Herself and Carlisle wasn’t entirely sure what His children were doing. Yet by the time He got home , something would definitely be broken. Carlisle headed to His office in the small hospital , seeing as He was not needed for another case for quite a while. The familiar din of All or Nothing welcomed Him as He opened the door. Two voicemail messages. If Esme had tried to contact Him twice , it really must have been important.
"Hello, Carlisle, it's me. Can you come down to the mall, please? It's urgent; I'm in the west parking lot. I took your car, sorry, but you have the Volvo anyways, so please hurry. It's important. I love you. Bye." Not bothering to hear the other message , Carlisle grabbed His stuff and ran out the door , shouting a rushed excuse to the secretary as to why He was leaving early .Nurses and Doctors whispered and murmured to each other , watching the usually calm and collected Doctor Cullen running out of the hospital as if it was on fire. They’d be talking about this for weeks.
Even outside of the hospital , Carlisle still didn’t stop. He ran to the Volvo and drove out of the car park without stopping. It would take about twenty minutes to get to the mall , and as soon as He found out what was going on , the sooner His mind would be at rest. Driving easily with one hand , Carlisle dialed Esme’s phone number with the other. Please tell Me nothing seriously wrong has happened. Please tell Me No one is hurt. Please at least tell Me to stop worrying.. He thought , growing impatient with the hand held device as it kept ringing.
ooc//Yup , that was bad.Sorry , but I really seem to have writer's block today , no matter how many brain cells I have borrowed. And listening to random stuff on youtube like Les paul and Mary Ford , or Billy Ray Cyrus (Who is a LOT more talented than His daughter by far.) does not help.

Yfall.into.me;;YYYand I need you to know you can fall into methat my arms are wide open and will always be;; ----------------------- ”It’s a good thing your son was the vampire to find her then and not some blood thirsty jerk. I am very happy that your son has found love, even if it’s a little unconventional. And you have my promise that I will be very careful and watchful while I am around Bella," Amanda said solemnly. Esme smiled a half smile, though she found Amanda's pledge very touching, she knew that Amanda would be surprised by the potency of Bella's blood. The only vampire in Esme's family that didn't find anything particularly tasty about Bella's blood was Carlisle. Then again, he had been all but desensitized to blood, which was useful, since he worked at the hospital, helping the helpless, accident-prone and certainly weaker humans every day.
"Yes, it is a tad unconventional, but you seem to be taking it more in stride than any other vampire I've seen. . . I'm sure that Edward will at least appreciate your pledge, but, I warn you, it is much, much more potent than anything. So be prepared. I myself sometimes have trouble with it. . ." She trailed off with a sigh; her train of thought had dragged her back through the painful memories of Bella's 18th birthday party. . .
”You must be joking, werewolves? Good thing I found this out today, I was planning on going to La Push tomorrow to check it out!” Amanda exclamation was the perfect distraction from those unforgetable moments that seemed burned into her mind; memories that she wished would fade over time. But Edward and Bella's current joy seemed to do a good job of masking those unpleasent recollections; and Edward seldom liked it when Esme dwelled on that. It made him distant, and sad all over again. She nodded grimly; that would not have been good. Such a violation of the treaty -second only to biting a human- would spark a massive war amongst the Cullens and Sam's pack. A war of that magnitude would not go unnoticed by the humans of Forks. And another rule, one of the Volturi's, would have also been shattered. "No, that would be the last thing any of us want. I guess going shopping today was a good idea. . ." She mused with an ironic smile.
"Esme Why have you chosen to live off animals? I do it because I could never take the life of another. But your whole family does it. It’s amazing that I am not the only one who lives this way. Are there others like us or are we alone in our habits?" Amanda asked curiously. Smiling, Esme explained; "Well, it was Carlisle's decision, mostly. When he was turned, about 350 years ago, he hated what he had become, and he spent his first few years trying to kill himself, he so strongly loathed what he was. He didn't drink at all; finally, he became too weak to resist, and he attacked a group of deer. After that, he began to think that he didn't have to be a monster, that he could still do some good in this world. And, consequently, when he turned Edward and Rosalie, and all the rest of my family, excluding Alice and Jasper, we too, followed his ways. So, I guess because we don't like being the stuff of horror movies; we try to be humans, to be compassionate, to go against our very natures. . ." She concluded, with a small smile on her lips. Just then, her phone rang, her ring tone, All or Nothing, singing from her pocket. She quickly picked it up, already knowing it was Carlisle.
"Hi, honey. I assume you got my voicemails?" Esme asked, stating the obvious, though she was secretly relieved. The tension in her chest seemed to relax, and she leaned back against the hood of the black Mercedes, awaiting Carlisle's reply. 'Sorry,' she mouthed the apology to Amanda, a relieved expression on her perfect face.

wheni'mwithyou;;when i’m with you i’ll make every second countcause I miss you gggggggggggggggggggggggggggg Carlisle sighed , a small smile of ease appearing across his face. The tone in Esme's reassuring voice made it sound that nothing seriously bad had happened , and that convinced Carlisle enough."Hi to you too.I got the voicemails , and pretty much ran out of the hospital like I was insane...I should have thought about that before I did it.Yet you said it was urgent ... "Carlisle replied with a weak, tired laugh ."I'm about five minutes away now.Sorry for the wait, Anyway , I'll see you soon.Love you."Carlisle spoke softly , before hanging up the phone and heading towards the west parking lot.
Alright , it took longer than five minutes to get there.Try twenty five minutes. Then You'd be closer. How was Carlisle supposed to know that there was road works nearby? Stupid Traffic.
Carlisle quickly parked the silver volvo in the nearest parking spot and then set out to find his wife. There went another fifteen minutes. The west car park is BIG.And some cars seemed like they really wanted to run him over.Or at least try.Which they could. They'd lose their car , and their determination to kill Carlisle. He probably looked very strange right now - walking around the parking lot blankly , looking like he'd lost something.Who'd lose something in a PARKING LOT?
Finally , Esme was in sight , after Carlisle had reached the other side of the (too huge and ridiculously set out for Carlisle's liking) parking lot. Then He was instantly calm , even though he had to dodge a EIGTH car that was heading towards him with no indication of slowing down. Eventually , Carlisle managed to get over to her , kissing her softly on the cheek."Hey.So what's the emergency?"He asked with a smile.
ooc//OML , I finally got this done.It only took forever and a day.I AM SO SORRY.
Listening to// All or nothing , theory of a deadman.A.K.A , THE BEST SONG EVER.
