. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Jane's step was still a bit slow after what happened not hours before. Jane quickly looked around her room, and at her face; not good. Her pale face was worse than eyer, as the circles around her eyes darkened. The Light brown hair was now darkened and filled with twigs. Jane swept her hair away as she looked at the light mark that showed on her neck. She blinked before dropping her hair. That would be a reminder that would never leave her side.Jane looked back one more. Her usual crimson eyes were a deep onyx. Jane turned from the mirror, she was disgusted. Why did she let herself get so dirty, it was disgusting, it didn't fit in. The white walls Blazed as there was an old couch, red and dusty sitting against the side. It looked like she did; unkempt, thrown out. Jane knew that as soon as she Got back her room would be the first thing that got a makeover. Before Alice could get a hand on her, and before Rose could make her a wardrobe, this wold be amazing.
Jane looked out the window as the sheeting rain came down harder and harder. It was dreary in this town, when would this ever stop? Did it every stop? Would she ever see the sun again? Jane shook her head as she walked to her door stepping out. She was meeting Carlisle in the living room. They were going on her first hunting trip. Jane pulled her eyebrows together as she thought of the taste. she didn't know whether it would taste good at all, but she had to try. She had to.

Carlisle sat patiently on the couch in the living room ,alone.He was flicking through the many different news channels , staying on each for no longer than a few seconds.Channel hopping was starting to become an annoying habit of His.Sadly,His mind was elsewhere...
Carlisle was still thinking about the morning's hectic events.Jane joining the Coven , and the fight with Edward...at least everything else had calmed down now .The storm had calmed down yet the rain continued to pour , it Certainly wasn't going to stop soon.In other words,perfect weather for the Cullen family and perfect weather for going hunting.
Carlisle's eyes were currently a chocolate brown colour , and He had been meaning to go hunting for a week now.Because of having to work late hours at the hospital (The hospital being short on staff at the moment) , He simply had not had the time.Today , He had the day off , and was taking Jane on Her first hunting trip.
Soon Carlisle got tired of the Channel hopping and pressed a button on the remote , turning the television off.He sighed quietly to Himself , picking today's newspaper up off the floor.

She had been in a slight daze as they brought her up to her room, and now it came back to bight her in the ass. Jane thought hard for a moment before finding the right way hidden in her mind. She sighed as she messed with her hair slightly. she didn't want to look bad, but she couldn't look god. How was that going to work? Jane slowed her step as she got to the stairs watching carlisle turn the Tv off, pulling the Newspaper of the floor. There was no reason to keep carlisle waiting. Jane stepped down the stairs and made herself known. She didn't want to scare carlisle. not at all. Jane tilted her head to the side. "carlisle?"

Carlisle slowly opened the newspaper, casually flicking through each of the pages.Seattle seemed to be having even more problems than usual , which Carlisle had expected.There was an article on the three new wards in the hospital , and two companies had gone bankrupt.
Pretty much nothing there to fully capture Carlisle's attention.
"Carlisle?"
A voice said from nearby.Not bothering to look up from behind the paper to see Who was talking to Him and what They wanted."Hmm?"He said , flicking through the rest of the paper quickly.
The sounds of footsteps on the stairs brought Carlisle back to reality.He quickly closed and folded the paper in half ,placing it on the table next to Him.Getting up , He walked into the hallway to see Jane."I'm sorry about that , I was struggling to pay attention." |

Jane tilted her head to the side before she laughed quietly. He was the last person she would think to have problem paying attention. Jane looked up and a shiver wen through her. The hunt was coming and soon. she blinked as she pictured the animal she would kill, what animal would she be hunting? Would she smell like an animal? It would have to be better than she smelled now. Jane looked up to carlisle. "Where are we hunting carlise?"

Carlisle watched silently as Jane laughed at what He said.He eventually laughed softly with Her."Is it that hard to believe that even I have trouble paying attention sometimes?I'm only human."Carlisle paused as He realised what He had just said."Scratch that.I'm a Vampire , yet I'm just like any other Person...in most ways."He corrected Himself , smiling.Even the 'Perfect' Carlisle made mistakes.
"Where are We going?"Carlisle repeated ."We're going to a meadow , extremely close to the mountains . A few yards from that , You get a variety of animals .Occasionally some mountain lions and a few Grizzlies.A few wolves , foxes , and smaller animals like rabbits and hares.No human dares to go near there."He explained.Carlisle couldn't help but wonder what Jane would want to start out on.Preferably , something less dangerous , as biting Humans and biting animals were completely different things..

It was soft, but is was nice uplifting sound. Something it didn't take you long to get use to. How could Carlisle still think that he was human, after 300 hundred years. Jane was now the oldest Cullen there. This year she would be 763 years. And she has to act like the young teen that she looks."We're going to a meadow , extremely close to the mountains . Carlisle laughed softly.He probably seemed out of His mind after what He had just said .In a way , it seemed like a childish mistake..which made Carlisle realise something.He was no longer the oldest Cullen , Jane being around four hundred years older than Him.In the age that They forever were,Esme was the oldest,being three years older than Him.
Carlisle shortly realised that He wasn't paying attention again.What was wrong with Him today?It was exceedingly unusual for Carlisle of all people to have this short an attention span."Yes Jane , Wolves...is everything alright?"He asked His new 'daughter'."So,shall We be going then?"

Their warm scent circling her, pulling her to where she didn't want to go. Of course she had control, a lot more than most vampires, besides this coven who had a lot of self control. but one slip could put her family in danger. "Carlisle? What happens if I slip up?" She asked her eyes a bit blank. Jane let her eyes fall to the ground.
"Yes Jane , Wolves...is everything alright?" "Yes carlisle, it just sounded different." Jane pulled her eyebrows together."Like how you have animals you prefer." Jane shook her head. "No that was stupid." How could she even think about something like that? She didn't know what animals tasted like, how would she like wolves?

"If You slip up ?"Carlisle repeated before pausing to think.After a short moment , He smiled."We'll think of that if the time comes.I believe that You have enough self control for that sort of thing not to happen.If it did..I understand how hard it must be for You to convert to animal blood ."He replied.This was the problem with Carlisle.He had so much faith in everyone and everything , no one wanted to dissapoint Him or tell Him that They've done something wrong.He was too...forgiving.
"No , that wasn't stupid.We do all have animals that We prefer , like humans have favourite foods.For example , Edward likes mountain lions.I Myself , Haven't got a favourite though.Yet I do enjoy bears and foxes.."Carlisle glanced at the clock on the wall."Well if We're meant to be back tomorrow , We should really start heading out now.."

Jane's unkempt brown hair almost looked normal as it stuck to her head. Her black eyes scanning the area."After you carlisle." She said stepping back. Now all she had to do was follow. She would get her meal soon after that.

Carlisle paused for a moment , looking up at the sky."Hmm.We might as well take the car to the edge of the forest then walk the rest of the way.The meadow is on the other side of Forks.It would seem a bit strange for Us to be walking in this weather and It's just a bit quicker."He spoke , opening the garage door and getting into the driver's side of the Car , sitting patiently as He waited for Jane to get in.

And Jane remembered fighting in it. the trees were everywhere making fighting complicated. Jane sighed as she walked to the garage, her eyes glistening at thee cars, the were just so pretty. Jane eyed the Mercedes as Carlisle got in looking for Jane to get in. Jane almost skipped to the car, looking out the dark tinted windows. Will I get one?" She asked running her finger down the door, as she closed it with a tight click. She eyed Carlisle , waiting for an answer. But there was another answer that she needed too. "How hard it it," she said tilting her head,"To hunt animals?"

But then they faltered as she heard the car situation. She knew that Edward wouldn't want her anywhere close to his precious Bella to be anywhere around this girl, right? There had to be a way she could be closer to Edward, she wanted him to trust her right?Jane sighed before she started again, "Any car?"
"It might seem a bit hard on the first try , yet You'll get used to it and improve extremely quickly.Are You alright about this whole conversion?You seem nervous." "Well," Jane sighed, was she nervous, and was she showing it that badly. "I guess I am nervous." She said chuckling a bit.
